Deceptive Christianity in these Last Days: a fulfillment of II Peter 2

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. II Corinthians 11:13-15
It is with a heavy heart that I bring forth the message set forth in this article. It is imperative that you read and carefully, with much prayer, consider this message; especially if you claim to be a born-again Christian. Nothing can be as crucial as your eternal status with God. Humble yourself, and live.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. James 4:7-10
If you have followed this blog at all, then you know I have been warning that the end of the world is at hand. We need to prepare to meet God! But what I am seeing here all around me is that few Christians are even aware that anything is wrong. Yet I have found that underlying this circumstance is a very frightening truth, which is this: The GREAT MAJORITY of professing Christians ARE NOT SAVED. Most that supposedly come to Jesus today have been steered into a false Christianity. And of those believers whose initial salvation was legitimate, most have been seduced back into a fallen spiritual state.
This is the condition into which I had fallen. I saw behavior from professing Christians that I could not understand; things being done that either ignored or contradicted Biblical instructions. Yet I also saw, from the scriptures, that this apostasy is exactly what we can expect in these last of the “last days.” And after I had seen this in others, I realized that it was also in me. What an agony it was to know that I was a phony Christian, and had shamed and grieved my God! Real repentance, then, finally came. And this is generally what is missing in the “Christians” of today; a knowledge of our sin and separation from God, the atonement for those sins by Jesus on the cross, and the need for REPENTANCE from our sins. Evangelism today mostly focuses on building up a person’s self-esteem, and bribing them with gifts God wants to give them. It tends to indicate that God has already accepted them, and all that they must do is acknowledge Him. This type of presentation will lead many into a profession of Christianity when no real change has occurred. The Bible (KJV only) warns us that such will be the case in the last days.
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Mark 13:22
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Acts 20:29,30
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. II Thessalonians 2:11,12
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. II Timothy 4:2-4
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 1:15,16
Jesus also warned us in the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:18-23; Mark 4:14-20; Luke 8:11-15) that some would turn willingly to Him, but later fall away. Please read the account for yourself in the King James Bible.
But another important comparison is found in the book of Revelation. The seven churches of Asia minor, found in chapters 2 and 3, are also considered to be representative of seven church ages of the church. We are now in the last age, the Laodicean age, found in Revelation 3:14-20.
(1) First of all, Jesus refers to these “Christians” as Laodiceans; residents of the city, rather than saying that they are merely believers in Laodicea. That’s because the Christians of this time cannot be distinguished from the world around them; they are just like it. (2) This is the only church of the seven that has nothing good said about it! (3) These believers are called lukewarm, and they produce in our Savior a symptom He likens to stomach sickness; and He spues them out from His mouth! We are the friends of this world, and have become God’s enemy.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. James 4:4
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. John 12:25
There are several types of phony Christians that I see today, and we will know them by their fruit (Matthew 7:16-20). Generally, you can tell of their integrity by how they respond to challenges from the Bible, or by the way they use the Bible when they attempt to support their “faith”. Many of these alleged conversions weren’t ever real, but some started out well, and later fell away. (1) From the parable of the sower, we have the seed in shallow soil. These are real converts, but have no depth. These fall away quickly if they are persecuted, or they may be upended from troubling scriptures—which tend to imply the need for greater commitment. (2) Again from the sower parable, we have the seed among thorns, which is a genuine conversion. But the world, with all its allures and distractions choke that seed—and no fruit will come. These branches will be burned (John 15:2-6). (3) There is an intellectual assent to the Christian life. These are well acquainted with the tenets of Christian faith, and will readily be in verbal agreement. They will not, however, live to these requirements. If pressed as to why, usually they will relativize the truth of the Bible, and declare that it doesn’t fit their situation. (4) Another one I would call a “turning point” alleged conversion. The individual comes to a desperate point in their life, and Jesus seems to be a way to turn things around. Their supposed salvation is based upon God’s unconditional love and acceptance of them, and there is never any real repentance from sin. This is a self-esteem gospel, where men may have “a form of godliness, which denies the power.” This is II Timothy 3:5, and real believers are to withdraw from these.
            We find Jesus directly giving an account of phony faith in Matthew 7:21-23. Please read the following verses carefully;
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23
(1) First, you can see that not everyone that calls upon Jesus as Lord will be saved. It is the doing of God’s will, which is discovered through prayer and Bible study that shall be the accepted approach. (2) Jesus said that there will be MANY who will face Him in judgment in the way he describes here! Scriptural prophecy supports this. (3) These are not marginal church laymen being described here. These individuals were dedicated and religious, even to the point of apparent miracles being done through them. Let us judge and discern rightly, brethren. Please see John 7:24 and I John 4:1. (4) Jesus is declaring to these here that He never knew these people. They had not known Him at one time, and fallen, but in fact they had done all apart from Him.
But the book of II Peter, chapter 2, is our primary scripture for prophecy concerning the false faith deception of the last days. You are encouraged to read the entire chapter, but for my purpose here I will mostly skip over the center section of verses.
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you:… II Peter 2:1-3a
Chapter 2 opens with the prophecy of false teachers rising amongst true believers. They will bring not just small heresies, but damnable heresies; big ones, that even deny Jesus and His Lordship. We see, again, that MANY will follow them in their destructive teachings. And it is by the behavior of such that the right way of truth is spoken of as evil. They will tell us soothing lies, because they covet both our esteem and our money.
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. II Peter 2:18-22
These false teachers promote a “way’ of salvation the indulges fleshly appetite—which is more appealing than self denial, and daily crucifying the flesh. They promise their adherents that they are eternally secure with Christ, and that they will not be held accountable when they yield to fleshly passions.
It is plain enough to see that these verses are indicating that many who are honestly born again will be taken in by these false teachers, and again be entangled in a sin separation from God; this later fall will be worse than their initial sin-fallen state. Why will it be worse? Because at the first, they knew they were sinners in need of salvation. But the latter state tells them that they are saved even WITH their worldly, sinful, fleshly lifestyle (whether moderate or extreme, they have no desire to be obedient to God or to be more Christ-like).
The prophecy of II Peter 2 is being fulfilled today, right out in the open. It is rampant here in the United States, and only by God’s mercy have my wife and I been able to see it and escape.
Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:7-9
The very point of this article is so that those who have taken the name of Christ may come to serve Him in truth. Humble yourself before God, and ask Him to show you where you are falling short. Study diligently the New Testament of the King James Bible; God will show you the great abyss that separates today’s “Christian” practices from the instructions for living which God gave us in His Word. Embrace the cross. Repent of your sins. Seek God in prayer, and by His Word, for daily direction in your life. Put away worldliness. Make Jesus the true LORD of every part of your life, without merely doing lipservice for Him.
Time is almost up, brethren. Make sure your Heart is right with God. Jim Elliot, a martyred missionary in Ecuador once said, “When it comes time for you to die, make sure that all you have to do is die.” Let’s take care of eternal business right now.
O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return. Jeremiah 5:3
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Hosea 10:12

The Warfare of the Christian

Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me. Psalm 59:1
To whom it may concern;
This letter is written to my fellow brethren in Christ which have of late found themselves dealing with contention on multiple fronts: take courage, for you are not alone. Nor have these conflicts come upon you because of deficiencies in your walk with Jesus Christ. Indeed, the struggles have come from your commitment to Him, and are a fulfillment of scripture.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. I Peter 5:8-10
At least here in America, I think that Christians are usually under the impression that their lives ought to be accompanied by prosperity, and peaceful relations with all other human beings. This is not, however, what the Bible teaches, or what Jesus lived while here in the flesh.
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. Matthew 10:34-36
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. John 15:19
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. Acts 14:22
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. II Timothy 3:12
It becomes a confusing message when you see some acclaimed Christian leaders being well received by nearly every one; it’s as if they had some special dispensation which gives them a favorability that the Word of God doesn’t teach—and that Jesus himself didn’t have.
After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him. John 7:1
Always trust your Bible, for that is the TRUTH. We have been warned that such religious leaders would come.
Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. Luke 6:26
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. II Timothy 4:3, 4
And so it is, that many church leaders will promote the false idea that Christians ought to be at peace with everyone in their lives. It’s easy enough to support this notion through a few well-chosen scriptures, yet all the while they ignore the vast testimony of God’s Word. This false notion about Christian peace can be a real stumbling block. To accept this false notion of peace means that not only will we have to deal with our contentions, but that then we will also have self condemnation for even having a problem at all. Let us know, and cling to the truth of God’s Word, and we will be set free (John 8:31,32).
The truth of the matter is this; Satan is our arch foe, and he is going to bring warfare against us. His intent is to steal our faith, or discourage us, and to keep us from witnessing for Jesus Christ. We do in fact want peace, but the enemy won’t let that happen. And Satan especially likes to afflict us in a diversionary way—he doesn’t want us to think that it’s him, or that we are suffering for our faith. The devil learned long ago that when Christians know they are suffering for their faith, they get stronger. Therefore the enemy will attack us through many things which seem natural, or ordinary. Yet the Bible assures us that it is the devil, and so we must arm ourselves for the fight.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:11-18
In the Old Testament, God’s people had many physical wars with neighboring enemies. In the New Testament, our fight is spiritual, but it is still warfare.
But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord. Acts 13:8-12
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; II Corinthians 10:3-5
This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; I Timothy 1:18
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. II Timothy 2:3,4
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 3
We can learn a lot through David, who God refers to twice as “a man after His own heart” in I Samuel 13:14, and Acts 13:22. In II Samuel chapter 10, we find David sending servants to comfort Hanun the King of Ammon, after the death of his father, Nahash. The intent was sincere, but Hanun treated these servants shamefully, and then brought war against Israel, though David had treated them well! Could this be the inspiration for Psalm 120:6,7?
My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. Psalm 120:6,7
We also read of another enemy encounter, through David in Psalm 55:12-14…20,21
For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company…. He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant. The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. Psalm 55:12-14…20,21
The enemy being written of here would not be easy to spot, yet it is an effective way for Satan to attack—from those you wouldn’t typically suspect. And this is where our lives (myself and my wife) connect with the truth of the scripture.
We knew a man in the flesh, who was a neighbor, and a professing Christian. For above 10 years we lived with him both peacefully and helpfully. Never did we suspect the true inner nature of this man. He began to wage war against us, at first in secret, but later openly, once he was exposed. The Lord showed us that we had never really known this man: and that what we were facing wasn’t really a man at all, but an evil spirit. And evidence readily came forth to support what God had shown us in secret. There is too much to write about here, and for the sake of privacy I cannot be more detailed. Yet I earnestly want those in the same type of battle to be assured that you are not alone, and to encourage you in this fight. Our own battle with this enemy lasted more than 50 months from the time we first knew that something was wrong.
Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight: Psalm 144:1
When the Bible lists characteristics for mankind in the last days, it says such things as they will be “haters of God” (Romans 1:30), and “despisers of those that are good” (II Timothy 3:3). It also states that these will have a form of godliness which denies God’s power (II Timothy 3:5). In light of such descriptions, attacks upon us should be an unfortunate expectation.
Many will be the attacks of the enemy upon us, brethren. Yet God will remain faithful through them all both for His glory, and our spiritual good. God has a plan. And along the way you shall have ample proof of the continual presence of our Savior.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. II Corinthians 4:16-18

The Sign of the Son of man, the arrival of Wormwood, and the End of Days.

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. Revelation 8:10 & 11
In 1979, Australia built an observatory, and called it project Wormwood. This also happened to be the same year that NASA launched the Pioneer 10 space probe, and verified the existence of Planet X; which is also known as Nibiru. This planet is a destructive force which the earth encounters every so many thousands of years.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:29-31 Bold type added for emphasis
Can it be that Nibiru is this sign of the Son of man? I believe that it is. The general appearance of this sign, prophesied in the book of Matthew, has not yet occurred. But there are those who even now are tracking it, and there will come a time when it cannot be hidden from public view.
Nibiru is part of another planetary system that is attached to a star called Nemesis. Leaked information from NASA calls Nemesis a failed brown dwarf star. The Biblical prophecy of Wormwood could refer to either Nibiru or Nemesis.
…Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Revelation 12:12b
How is it that the devil knows he has only a short time? A primary reason for this would be that the devil knows the cycles of Nibiru and the destruction that it brings. God likely used the same method to bring about the Flood of Noah (Genesis 6-8). It seems that there will be two primary encounters with the Nibiru/Nemesis system, the effects of which are listed in Revelation chapters 8 and 16, with the worst of it in chapter 16: the seven vials of God’s wrath.
The arrival of Nibiru gives us a time frame in which the other events of Revelation occur. These are events such as World War III (9:13-19), world government, and the reign of the beast, or Antichrist (Chapter 13). Even now, the global elite are in a “hurry up” mode to get their global system in place before the primary effects of Nibiru are unleashed upon the earth. These elite will then attempt to ride out this storm of judgment in the mountains, within the underground shelters they have prepared in them. Then they will emerge to rule over whatever is left of mankind: yet there will be no escape from the fury of God’s wrath.
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 6:12-17
Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. … Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. Isaiah 24:1-6, 17-21
When will all this be happening? Let me remind you that as terrible as the destruction of Nibiru will be, even this only gives us a time frame for the greater evil that Satan has planned for mankind. From what I am seeing, and perceiving by the Holy Spirit, all of this will be over by 2026 at latest. This means that all of the events in Revelation will be happening between now and that time; the end of which will find Jesus in his millennial reign here on earth. Praise God!
The timing of Nibiru. While there may be a few people out there with a more precise estimate of Nibiru’s nearest approach, they are hard to find. There may also be some that know, but won’t share the information. Nibiru does not follow the same laws of motion as the rest of the solar system, and currently our government is trying to keep Nibiru a secret. This planet has been affecting the earth for some 20 years already, noticeable primarily in the weather, and earthquakes. (A) Rushian astronomers were predicting February of 2021 for some Nibiru encounter. (B) In March 2021, debris from a Nibiru caused collision with Jupiter will reach the earth. (C) Leaked information from NASA points to the general time period f late 2023 to early 2024. (D) In 2017, the path of a solar eclipse in the United States marked a what would be diagonal line across the nation’s center. Another eclipse, seven years later in 2024, would trace another diagonal line through the first one; forming an “X” over America, I do believe our nation to be the “mystery Babylon” referred to in Revelation 17:5. Our judgment is then foretold in Revelation 18.
The timing of future world events. The big event to look for is World War III. This war is a planned event, meant to finally bring about world government. World War III is scheduled to begin in the Middle East as a regional war (Iran), and then spread to include China, and become global. At some point China will invade the United States. But WHEN will this war start? By praying, and by watching, my hope is that it will not begin until after the 2020 election, and the president (probably Trump) will be sworn in (January 20th, 2021). I am not fully assured that we have even that long, but I pray that God may extend our peace to at least that time.
Please remember, brethren in Christ, that there will be no “rapture” of God’s people until after the tribulation period; a time of a little more than 3½ years, the length of the Antichrist’s reign. Jesus reveals this to us in Luke 17:26-30, and also in Revelation 18 & 19. Christians are only taken home to the marriage supper AFTER the turmoil of the tribulation period, and just prior God’s great wrath being poured out at the battle of Armageddon. Please read these chapters to see it for yourself—God wants you to be prepared, not asleep.
God warned His people to flee out of Babylon before he brought judgment (Jeremiah 51:45). God is calling to His people to come out of Babylon again in Revelation 18:4. He has promised a place in the wilderness to flee to (Revelation 12:14), but also commends those that will fall for His name’s sake (Revelation 12:11, 14:13).
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Revelation 16:15
Beloved brethren in Christ, God is giving  us this time to prepare for what He is about to do. It’s time to make certain that our hearts are right with God through Jesus Christ, and not in love with this world. What will a man give in exchange for his soul (Matthew 16:24)?
There may be other preparations for you to make. God did this type of thing through Joseph (Genesis 41), Elisha (II Kings 8:1), and Agabus (Acts 11:28). We must dig down deep, and seek God for what He wants us to do, how He wants us to live, who He needs us to warn.
This has been a difficult article for me to write. It has been on my heart to do so, for most of 2019. I pray that you will take it seriously, pray much over it, and do your own research. But time is almost up, brethren. This represents the serious, committed side of our marriage relationship with the Lamb of God. Feel free to contact me if you need to. Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. II Peter 3:3-12
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Mark 13:31
