Getting Down to Business

"And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light." -Romans 13: 11,12.

As most of you may know, we arrived in Kazungula, Botswana on December 3rd, 2021. We have been in our current apartment since January 12th this year. Although we have been able to share, little is presently visible in terms of future ministry. Still, God has been cementing His calling for us here: please pray that the Lord will grant us opportunity to warn many before, "The night cometh, when no man can work." -John 9:4.

One word I must share, is that a large asteroid is said to be passing Earth within the next few weeks. It is said to be 3/4 the size of Earth. Watch & pray!

We will be transferring our on-line ministry to https://youtube.com/user/ajschwankl.

We hope you will tune in. This is simply a matter of practicality, not preference-we are not set up well! But the time is urgent, and we need to share what we have been shown by God's grace.

The message is really two-fold; first, that we have entered the very last of the "last days" period. What do I mean? Right now we are waiting for the revealing of the Antichrist (II Thessalonians 2:3), after which he will reign for a little over 3 1/ 2 years before the Lord returns. First should come World War 3, within the next couple of years. I do not see the world going on as it is beyond 2030, and we will be in great upheaval during these years.

Secondly, there is a great need for renewed evangelism, especially directed toward the professing Christian church. The real meaning of salvation has been blurred, at best. Genuine repentance is missing, and the eternal fate of many will follow the pattern seen in Matthew 7:21-23.

We had heard that Botswana is 70% Christian, but this count is obviously by superficial survey. I would describe what I see as, "Full churches, few Christians." This is the condition we should expect, Biblically, throughout the world during the end of the "last days." What follows next is a list of the spiritual struggles we are seeing around us here. The list is not in a particular order, and I do not say that these issues are unique to this country. Some listings may overlap each other.

1) The phony prosperity gospel teaching is widespread. It is much worse here than in western nations, in my opinion. 2) Lying is very casual and normal, and some even fiercely defend it. 3) There is a very unhealthy respect of persons. Leaders are put on a platform, and often treated as "upper class." 4) The people shy away from face to face disagreement. Thus, you may think they have agreed with you, and that you have made a point, but it rarely turns out this way. You will soon see by behavior that nothing has changed. 5) The people are very COVETOUS, asking for you to give them what you have. No, they usually don't need it! They typically have food, homes, clothing, access to school, etc. In my opinion, too much television! They see what others have, and covet those things, needful or not. Church leaders really don't stand against this, and often lead this bad behavior by example. 6) People love going to church, but that is the extent of their faith. It is simply a diversion from everyday life. And to many, involvement with the man-made business of church is Christianity; they have lost the meaning. 7) There is no thought about being deceived, despite the Bible's many warnings. 8) Strongly related to #7 is the lack of Bibles. There is a lack of emphasis on individual Bible ownership, even though churches keep preaching the "Bible." This leads to a top-heavy leadership which will be revered, and not challenged. 9) There is no concern for true Bible DOCTRINE (II Timothy 4:3,4). I have seen this pollution in many. Maybe it is a part of always "getting along" with others, not disagreeing.

II Timothy 3:5 tells us that today men will have ä form of godliness, which denies the power." This is what I wish to warn about, before turning away, as directed. I will be focused much on these areas in upcoming ministry, both on-line, and in person. Please remain watchful, and constant in prayer; the days of our pilgrimage are almost over.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." -Revelation 14:6,7.
